"I Understand Your Relationship with Your Dog Because I Have That Same Relationship with Mine."

Meet Ocho, our wonderfully spirited Korean Jindo, who was less than a year old when this photography was taken. Like many reactive dogs, he gets excited whenever he sees another dog - even on television - and he keeps up laughing every day with his larger that life personality. Although we still miss Poncho, Boba, and Mikey, Ocho has helped fill our lives with new adventures and together we continue to enjoy hiking, exploring, and making memories as a family.
Every dog you see on this page was part of our family. Their lives, their adventures, and even our heartbreak shaped the photographer I am today. They taught me that photographs become priceless, not because of the day they were taken, but because of the memories they preserve.

FAQs
The answers to your questions
"My dog is reactive/anxious around strangers or other dogs. Can you still work with us?"
Yes, absolutely! this is actually where I feel most at home. My own dog, Ocho, is a reactive Korean Jindo, so I know firsthand what it takes to work with a dog who needs more space, more patience, and a slower pace. Tell me about your dog's triggers before your session, and we will build the whole experience around what makes your dog comfortable.
"My dog won't set still is that a problem?"
Not at all. I do not force a "sit and stay" pose on any dog. Some of my favorite images come from dogs who are mid-run, mid-jump, or just being fully themselves. We will capture who your dog actually is, not a stiff portrait.
"My dog is scared of cameras or the sound of the shutter."
That is more common than you would think. I can start with a longer lens and give your dog space to get curious about the gear on their own terms. Sniffing it, hearing the shutter from a distance, earning treats along the way before I ever get close.
"My dog is a senior, and I am worried we are running out of time."
I understand this more than most. I have loved and lost three senior dogs of my own, and I know how much it matters to capture them now rather than "someday." Senior sessions move at whatever pace your dog needs, with plenty of rest breaks built in.
"Should I bring treats or toy?"
Absolutely! Bring your dog's favorite treats, toys, or squeaky sounds work best since they already know and
trust them. I will also have a few tricks and treats of my own on hand.
"What if it rains or the weather does not cooperate?"
We will reschedule at no cost. I would rather move your session than rush it because, of bad weather
or uncomfortable conditions for your dog.
"Do you only photograph dogs, or other pets too?"
Absolutely! I photograph other pets. While dogs are close to my heart, I also photograph horses, rabbits, cats, and farm animals. If they are part of your family, they are welcome in front of my camera.
"How soon will I see our photo?"
Your fully edited images will be ready to view within 15 to 21 business days of your session.
