Coco & Joe

Meet Coco and Joe, two beautiful chocolate Labs—and a mother-and-son duo who were ready for an adventure at the American River in Rancho Cordova.

For 4-year-old Joe, this was his very first time in the river, and it didn’t take long for him to discover just how much fun the water could be! Coco joined right in as they splashed, explored, and enjoyed being together.

And a special thank-you to Levi, who was a huge help during the photo session, tossing dog treats into the river and giving Coco and Joe plenty of reasons to jump in and make a splash.

Sometimes the best photographs aren’t about sitting perfectly and looking at the camera. They’re about letting dogs be dogs—playing, exploring, getting wet, and simply having fun.
